  • Use proper chainring bolts and torque values as recommended by your crank/bolt manufacturer. Typical chainring bolt torque ranges are often in the ~8–12 N·m range but refer to your crankmaker's specification.
  • Periodically check bolts for correct torque and inspect steel teeth for wear. Steel teeth offer improved wear resistance but will still require routine inspection.
